SS Sealer Stripper™ Specialty Clean
SS Sealer Stripper is a biodegradable, industrial-strength stripper formulated to remove old acrylic sealers and curing compounds from clay and concrete pavers, wet cast, and natural stone surfaces. Our ready-to-use formula also makes SS great for removing adhesives, fog paints, graffiti, and more from hardscape surfaces.
Remember to spot clean with an SRW Specialty Cleaner first, then clean the entire surface with PW Paver Wash™ or DW Dual Wash™ before sealing.
Why is cleaning before sealing important? Always clean before you seal for the best sealing results. SRW Products always recommends using PW Paver Wash™ or DW Dual Wash™ before sealing a project. Cleaning solutions pull dirt and debris out, opening up pores and leaving an ideal surface for the sealer to bond, while pressure washing alone drives dirt and debris deeper into the pores.

SS Sealer Stripper Instructions

CLIMATE
- Product is supplied in a ready-to-use state. No stirring or thinning is required.
- Before using this product, thoroughly read the product’s label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
- Test in an inconspicuous area before starting the general application to ensure desired results.
- Recommended application temperatures are 50°F – 80°F (10°C – 27°C).
- Product is supplied in a ready-to-use state. No stirring or thinning is required.

APPLY
- Work in small areas (no larger than 10 sq. ft.).
- Apply to dry pavers.
- Products may be applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces by brush at a rate of approximately 200 ft 2/gallon.

WAIT
- Allow 10 minutes for the stripper to soak into and soften the coating for removal.

PRESSURE WASH
- Use pressure washer with a medium nozzle (yellow).
- Start at an elevation of 4″ and move closer until sealer turns white and peals off the surface.
- Difficult areas may need a second treatment. Sealer may re-adhere if not completely removed.

COVERAGE
- Up to 200 sq. ft. per gallon (15.58 sq. m. per 3.78 liters). Coverage may vary depending on surface and application.

CLEAN UP & STORAGE
- Store container in a cool area with cap or lid firmly in place.

USER TIPS
- Test in an inconspicuous area before starting the general application to
ensure desired results. - Wear eye protection and rubber gloves when applying SS.
- Prolonged contact of cleaner on metal or other surfaces may result in etching or damage.
- Saturate vegetation before and after application.
- Always use a PW Paver Wash or DW Dual Wash prior to resealing.
- Not for use on plastic, plastic composite materials, rubber or fiberglass.
- Not for use on stamped concrete.
