NW16 Heavy Duty Erosion Control Non-Woven Fabric

Our NW16 heavy-duty erosion control fabric is made of 100% polypropylene material and allows high water flow while controlling soil separation for added stability. The non-woven fabric is great for any heavy rip-rap/boulder retaining walls, underlayments, or other hardscape projects. This material is non-biodegradable, will not rot or mildew, can resist ultraviolet light deterioration, and can withstand damage from common soil chemicals, insects, and rodents.

NW16 Heavy Duty Erosion Control Fabric Instructions

  1. Prepare Area

    1. Remove all rocks and heavy roots from the desired area before laying down fabric.

  2. Place Fabric

    1. Unroll fabric and cut to desired length. Overlap each section 18-24 inches. Secure fabric with SRW Fabric Staples, staggering 1.2 staples per square yard.

  3. Cover Fabric

    1. Completely cover with landscape aggregate or stone to protect fabric from sunlight and to enhance the appearance of the project.
