Seams Right™ Turf Adhesive

• Clean Surface

  • Follow manufacturer’s recommendations for site preparation and rolling out turf. For proper adhesion surfaces must be flat, completely dry, and above 40°F.
  • Make sure the surfaces being bonded are clean of any materials that may prevent proper adhesion like dust, loose turf fibers, moisture, or frost.

• Applying Turf Adhesive

  • Peel back turf at seam to make space for laying Seams Right™ Turf Tape. Unroll turf tape to full length of seam.
  • Cut nozzle tip at slant for a 3/8” bead. Puncture inner foil and screw on applicator tip.With a minimum 10:1 thrust ratio, apply using SRW Products Standard or Premium Caulking Gun. Liberally apply Seams Right™ Adhesive onto turf tape in a zig-zag pattern, no more than 1½” distance between lines. Stay 3/4” away from the edge of turf tape.
  • Tightly join turf edges together onto Seams Right™ Turf Adhesive and Tape, following the line on the tape. Using a weighted roller, pass over seam multiple times to compress turf into Adhesive and Tape. See Install Images.

• CLEANUP & STORAGE

  • Clean uncured adhesive with mineral spirits.

  • Store at room temperature,no freezing weather. Will freeze or be damaged by low temperatures. 12 month shelf life

• CURING

  • Protect turf from rain/water and freezing conditions for 12 hours after installation. Protect from light foot traffic for 12 hours, and heavy foot traffic for 24 hours.

• CLEAN UP

  • Clean uncured adhesive with mineral spirits.

• STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

  • Store at room temperature, no freezing weather. Will freeze or be damaged by low temperatures. 12 month shelf life

User Tips

• • Peel back seam just before applying adhesive to tape. The turf backing can heat up and expand, leaving unwanted gaps at seams when the turf cools.
