How To Use SRW Products Mulch Stabilizer™
COVERAGE
Mulch Stabilizer™ covers up to 200 sq. ft. per gallon (18.58 sq. m. per 3.78 liters). Coverage may vary depending on the surface and application.
PREPARATION
To increase effectiveness, press mulch firmly in place to compact the area. Ensure the mulch is damp before applying the solution and lightly water it before applying to increase the bonding of Mulch Stabilizer™.
APPLICATION
Spray Mulch Stabilizer™ in a slow, even, saturating coat.
A second coat is recommended for better stabilization and to ensure the bond will last for a season and often two. Allow the first coat to dry for at least 2 hours before applying the second coat.
CURE
Let dry for 24 hours without rain or sprinklers.
User Tips:
-Apply with an SRW Heavy-Duty Construction Sprayer or 1 Gallon Sprayer.
-Maximum bond strength is achieved after 24 hours.
-Do not apply if rain is forecasted within 48 hours. Mulch needs to stay dry during the curing process.
-Apply when the temperature will remain between 50°F–80°F (10°C–26°C) for 48 hours before and after installation.
-Avoid spraying directly onto plants or trees.
-This product is not recommended for pine/chunk bark nuggets or wood chips.
